Definition

उद्धरण वे स्रोत होते हैं जिनका उल्लेख जानकारी के लिए किया जाता है, अक्सर शैक्षणिक लेखन में, या पुलिस द्वारा नियम तोड़ने पर दी जाने वाली आधिकारिक सूचना (चालान) भी हो सकते हैं।

'Citations' शैक्षणिक लेखन में स्रोतों के संदर्भ के लिए प्रयोग होता है और फॉर्मल है, आम संवाद में नहीं आता। कानून में इसका अर्थ ट्रैफिक चालान भी हो सकता है।
