Usage Notes (Hindi)

'Chortle' का इस्तेमाल आम बोलचाल में नहीं, बल्कि किताबों या कहानी में ज्यादा होता है। यह हँसी हल्की और कभी-कभी नाक से आती है। 'he chortles with delight' जैसी अभिव्यक्ति आम है। 'giggle' (बच्चों वाली हँसी) या 'snicker' (चुपके से हँसना) से अलग है।
