Definition

এগুলি বাড়ি, রান্নাঘর বা কারখানার ছাদের উপরে থাকা লম্বা সরু কাঠামো, যা ধোঁয়া বা গ্যাস নিরাপদে বাইরে নিয়ে যায়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'চিমনি' সাধারণত ছাদে দেখা যায় এবং ধোঁয়াকে বাইরে পাঠাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'chimney breast' এর সঙ্গে গুলিয়ে ফেলবেন না। উদাহরণ: 'smoke rising from the chimneys', 'clean the chimneys'.
