Definition

ছোট পাখি বা মুরগির বাচ্চাকে বলা হয়। কথ্য ভাষায়, তরুণী মেয়েদের বুঝাতেও ব্যবহার হয়, তবে এটি সব সময় ভদ্র নয়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'Chicks' প্রধানত শিশু পাখি বোঝাতে সবচেয়ে নিরাপদ। কাউকে উদ্দেশ্য করে ব্যবহার এড়ানো উচিত, কারণ তা অপমানজনক হতে পারে। 'baby chicks', 'chicks hatched' ইত্যাদি প্রায়ই শোনা যায়।
