Definition
Avisar tu llegada y registrarte en un lugar como un hotel o aeropuerto. También se usa para informar que has llegado a algún sitio o que estás presente.

Muy común en viajes, hoteles y aeropuertos ('check in en la recepción', 'check in para el vuelo'). También se usa en apps o redes sociales ('hacer check in en Facebook'). Informalmente, 'check in' puede significar contactar para ver cómo está alguien ('I'll check in with you later'). No confundir con 'check on' (cuidar a alguien).
