Definition
Hacer que alguien o algo se vaya persiguiéndolo o amenazándolo. Se usa para hablar de alejar animales, personas o incluso sentimientos.

Es una expresión informal. Se usa mucho para animales, personas molestos o sentimientos ('chase away fears'). No es tan fuerte como 'echar' o 'expulsar'. Puede ser literal o figurado.
