Definition

কেন্টর হলো প্রাচীন গ্রিক পুরাণের এক কাল্পনিক প্রাণী, যার শরীরের উপরের অংশ মানুষের এবং নিচের অংশ ও পা ঘোড়ার।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'Kentor' শব্দটি মূলত পুরাণ, কল্পকাহিনি, শিল্পকর্মে ব্যবহৃত হয়। দৈনন্দিন কথোপকথনে সাধারণত ব্যবহার হয় না। 'centaur constellation' বা স্তব্ধ রাশিতেও দেখা যায়।
