"Caught up" berarti telah menyamai orang lain setelah tertinggal, atau sangat terlibat dan tenggelam dalam sesuatu. Juga bisa berarti sibuk atau terpaku pada suatu hal.

'get caught up' berarti berhasil menyusul; 'be caught up in' berarti terlalu terlibat; 'get caught up with' biasa untuk kabar atau orang. Jangan bingung dengan 'catch up' (bentuk dasar/perintah).
