Definition
বড় এবং শক্তিশালী ভবন, পূর্বে রাজা বা অভিজাতরা নিরাপত্তার জন্য ও বাসস্থান হিসেবে বানাতেন। গল্প বা রূপকথায়ও ব্যবহৃত হয়।

সাধারণত বহুপুরুষ বা রূপকথার পুরোনো ভবন বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'build castles in the air' মানে অবাস্তব স্বপ্ন দেখা। আধুনিক বাড়ির জন্য নয়।
