Definition

カーニバルは音楽やダンス、パレード、屋台などが楽しめる大きな祭りです。多くの場合、特別な行事や時期に合わせて開催されます。

複数形で使い、複数のイベントを指します。「ストリートカーニバル」や「サマーカーニバル」など形容詞と組み合わせて使います。アメリカでは移動遊園地の意味もありますが、多くの国ではパレード付きのお祭りを指します。
