捕虜

Definition

戦争や敵に捕らえられて、意思に反して拘束されている人々のこと。歴史や報道などで使われる表現です。

主に歴史やニュース、文学で使われます。「take captives」は捕まえる、「release captives」は解放するの意味です。動物には使いません。
