কেউ যদি কিছু করতে সক্ষম হয়, তার মানে তার সেই কাজ করার দক্ষতা, শক্তি বা গুণাবলি আছে।

প্রধানত আনুষ্ঠানিক বা নিরপেক্ষ প্রসঙ্গে ব্যবহৃত হয়। সচরাচর 'capable of doing' এর পরে verb-এর '-ing' ফর্ম হয়।
