Definition

দুইটি রেখা বা পৃষ্ঠ যেখানে মিলিত হয়, যেমন ঘরের কোণা বা কোনো বস্তু বা সড়কের কোণ। কবিতার ক্ষেত্রে, 'canto' মানে একটি দীর্ঘ কবিতার ভাগ বা অধ্যায়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

সাধারণত 'কোণা' শব্দটি ব্যবহৃত হয় ঘর বা ভবনের কোণ বোঝাতে। সাহিত্যিক প্রসঙ্গে এটি কবিতার অধ্যায় বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয় ('canto of a poem')। ইংরেজিতে এটি কখনোই 'গান' অর্থে ব্যবহৃত হয় না।
