যখন কেউ শান্ত, উদ্বিগ্ন বা ক্রুদ্ধ নয়, সেই অবস্থা বা অনুভূতি। টেনশনে না গিয়ে মন শান্ত থাকা।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

কারো মনোভাব বা পরিবেশ বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়। 'a sense of calmness', 'maintain calmness', 'inner calmness'—এসব বাক্যে যেমন দেখা যায়। সাধারন 'calm' থেকে বেশি আনুষ্ঠানিক বা বিমূর্ত।
