Definition
Instar, invitar o animar a alguien o a un grupo a hacer algo; también se usa para una solicitud formal o pública para que se tome acción.
Usage Notes (Spanish)
Se usa a menudo en contextos formales o públicos: 'call to action' ('llamado a la acción'), 'call to arms' ('llamado a las armas'). También puede significar literalmente convocar a alguien. No confundir con 'call' solo, que casi siempre significa llamar por teléfono.
