Se usa mucho en inglés informal, especialmente para decir que haces algo sin compañía o ayuda: 'I went by myself' ('fui solo'). No confundir con simplemente 'alone', ya que 'by myself' puede enfatizar independencia. Diferente de 'myself' usado como pronombre reflexivo ('me hice daño').
