Definition
El acto de poner algo bajo tierra y cubrirlo con tierra. Se usa comúnmente para enterrar personas que han muerto, pero también para ocultar objetos o residuos bajo tierra.
Usage Notes (Spanish)
Suele usarse en pasado o formas continuas: 'He is burying a treasure.' Puede ser literal (enterrar en el suelo) o figurado ('burying the past'). Generalmente es formal o neutral. No confundir con 'buried' (pasado) ni 'bury' (forma base).
