Definition
Usar algo (especialmente dinheiro ou recursos) muito rápido até acabar tudo. Também pode significar literalmente fazer um buraco com fogo ou calor.

Expressão informal, comum em conversas. Geralmente com dinheiro ou suprimentos ('burn through cash'). Também pode ser literal (fogo perfura algo). Não usar para uso lento. Não confundir com 'burn out' ('esgotar-se').
