어떤 일을 서툴거나 부주의하게 해서 실수나 문제가 생기게 하다.

'일을 망치다', '업무를 서투르게 처리하다'처럼 자주 씁니다. 비공식적이고 부정적인 어감입니다. 'mess up'(보다 더 일상적), 'botch'(약간 더 격식)와 비슷합니다. 실수의 크기에 상관없이 사용됩니다.

He didn't read the instructions and bungled the test.
