Definition

「ブラシ」は、掃除や絵を描くこと、髪をとかすために使う道具です。複数形でいろいろな種類のブラシを指します。動詞としては軽く触れる動作も意味します。

Usage Notes (Japanese)

「paint brushes」「makeup brushes」など用途ごとに言い方が変わります。動詞として使う場合は「（人）が～をブラッシングする」になります。「bushes」（茂み）と区別しましょう。
