Limpiar o quitar polvo, suciedad o pelo de algo usando un cepillo, generalmente de manera completa.

'Brush down' se usa mucho para limpiar animales (caballos, perros), ropa o superficies, implicando limpieza profunda. No se usa para dientes o cabello—en ese caso se dice 'brush your teeth / hair'. Es común 'brush down a horse'.
