Definition

家族内の男性のきょうだいを指します。また、同じグループやコミュニティの男性メンバーにも使われます。

普通は実の兄弟を指します。「brothers and sisters」は兄弟姉妹全体を指す場合に使われます。宗教やグループでも形式的に使われることがあります。

I have two brothers and one sister.

私は**兄弟**が二人と妹が一人います。
