여러 명이 함께 이동할 때 맨 뒤에 있거나 마지막에 위치하는 것.

다소 격식 있거나 설명적인 상황, 군대 또는 단체 이동에서 자주 쓰임. 'fall behind'와 달리 능력 부족이 아니라 의도해서 뒤를 맡는 경우가 많음.
