تُستخدم بالمعنى الحرفي (إسقاط شيء فعلياً) أو المجازي (خفض الأسعار، إسقاط الحكومات، إحباط شخص). من الأكثر شيوعاً: 'bring down the price'، 'bring down the government'، 'bring down someone's mood'. غالباً غير رسمي.
