説得する意識を回復させる持ってくる／連れてくる

Definition

人の考えを変えさせる、気絶した人を目覚めさせる、または誰かや物をどこかに連れてくること。

カジュアルな会話でよく使われます。"bring someone around to ～" で説得の意味。「気絶した人を目覚めさせる」場合にも使います。「持ってくる／連れてくる」の意味はあまり一般的ではありません。

We tried to bring around our friend to our way of thinking.

私たちは友達を私たちの考えに**説得しよう**としました。

The doctor managed to bring around the patient after he fainted.
