Definition

إبلاغ شخص ما خبرًا سيئًا أو أمرًا صعبًا عادة بطريقة لطيفة أو حذرة.

Usage Notes (Arabic)

عادةً تُستخدم مع الأشخاص: 'break it to someone'. فقط للأخبار السيئة أو الأشياء الصعبة. شائعة في العبارة: 'I hate to break it to you, but...'. غير مستخدمة للتحطيم المادي.
