Las 'branches' son las partes de un árbol que crecen del tronco principal. También se usa la palabra para partes de organizaciones, empresas o áreas de conocimiento.

'Branches' es plural de 'branch' (rama de árbol) y se usa también para divisiones de organizaciones ('bank branches', 'branches of science'). Se suele usar: 'tree branches', 'abrir nuevas branches', 'company branches'. No confundir con 'brands' (marcas de productos).
