Sentir-se sem interesse e mentalmente cansado porque nada parece divertido, novo ou envolvente. Descreve a reação de uma pessoa quando algo não prende sua atenção.

Normalmente se usa para pessoas, não para coisas: 'I’m bored', mas 'The movie is boring'. Combinações comuns: 'bored with', 'bored by' e 'bored of' (comum na fala informal, especialmente no inglês britânico). 'Bored to death' é uma hipérbole muito usada.
