Genellikle bir sınav ya da önemli bir olaydan önce bir şeyi hızlıca ve yoğun şekilde öğrenmek veya çalışmak.

Gayri resmi bir deyimdir. 'on' ile kullanılır ('bone up on history'). Son anda sıkı çalışmayı ifade eder.
