Definition

bone 指構成人體骨骼的堅硬部分之一。它也可以指動物身體裡的硬骨頭，尤其是肉裡的骨頭，或給狗啃的骨頭。

它最常作名詞使用。常見搭配有 'break a bone'、'bone pain'、'chicken bone' 和 'bone marrow'。在非正式英語裡，'bone' 也會出現在 'I have a bone to pick with you' 這樣的慣用語中，但那個意思和真正的骨頭不同。
