'Bluish' अनौपचारिक है और तब उपयोग होता है जब रंग पूरा नीला न हो, बल्कि थोड़ा नीला झलकता हो। अक्सर 'bluish gray' या त्वचा, आंखों या आकाश के लिए इस्तेमाल होता है। पूरी तरह नीली चीज़ों के लिए नहीं।
