Definition

무언가가 통과하지 못하게 막거나, 일부러 신경 쓰지 않거나 잊으려고 하는 것.

'block out'은 일상적으로 햇빛, 소음, 혹은 기억 등에 사용되며, 의도적으로 무시하거나 잊으려 할 때도 쓴다. 물리적인 막을 의미하지 않음.
