Aumentar el precio de algo, especialmente en una subasta, haciendo ofertas más altas o animando a otros a hacerlo.
Usage Notes (Spanish)
Se usa principalmente en negocios y subastas. "Bid up" implica subir el precio de manera intencional, a veces artificialmente o por competencia. No se usa fuera del contexto de precios/ofertas; no confundir con "build up". Es común oír "bid up the price" o que algo "gets bid up".
