एक व्यक्ति जो किसी विचार, धर्म या सिद्धांत में गहरी आस्था रखता है। आमतौर पर धर्म के संदर्भ में इस्तेमाल होता है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

'Believer' आमतौर पर धार्मिक आस्था रखने वालों के लिए होता है, लेकिन इसे अन्य विचारों में दृढ़ विश्वास रखने वालों के लिए भी इस्तेमाल किया जा सकता है ('a believer in justice')। कभी-कभी रूपक में भी प्रयोग होता है। इसे 'belie' (छलना या गलत साबित करना) से न मिलाएँ।
