Definition

भृंग एक प्रकार का कीड़ा है जिसकी पंखों पर कठोर खोल होता है। इसकी बहुत सी प्रजातियाँ हैं और यह लगभग हर जगह पाया जाता है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

'Beetle' हमेशा संज्ञा के रूप में आता है। आम तौर पर 'dung beetle' (गोबर भृंग), 'lady beetle' (लैडी बर्ड/सोनपापड़ी) जैसे संयोजन मिलते हैं। इसे 'bug' (सामान्य कीड़ा) से न मिलाएँ।
