Definition
'Be on' significa que algo está sucediendo ahora, especialmente que un evento ocurre, un programa se transmite o algo está encendido.
Usage Notes (Spanish)
Se usa mucho con aparatos (TV, luces) o eventos activos. Es informal y usado en conversación. No confundir con 'be onto' (descubrir algo). 'What's on?' es '¿Qué hay en la tele?'. También para eventos: 'The meeting is on.' = 'La reunión sigue'.
