Definition

কোনো স্থানকে নিরাপদ রাখতে বা প্রবেশ বা বের হওয়া ঠেকাতে কোনো বাধা বা ব্যারিকেড দিয়ে বন্ধ করার কাজ।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

প্রায়ই 'দরজা', 'জানালা' কিংবা 'রাস্তা' শব্দের সাথে ব্যবহার হয়। আবার মানসিকভাবে নিজেকে আড়াল করার অর্থেও ব্যবহার হতে পারে। সাধারণ কথাবার্তায় কম, বর্ণনামূলক বা আনুষ্ঠানিক প্রসঙ্গে বেশি।
