'Bando' kelime olarak genellikle olumsuz veya suç anlamı içeren bir insan grubu ya da özellikle kuşlar olmak üzere hayvan grubudur.

Suç grubu için 'çete', kuş ve hayvanlar için 'sürü' daha yaygındır. 'Bando' kelimesi genelde edebî ya da resmi dildir. Müzik grubu olan 'band' ile karıştırılmamalı.
