Definition

アザーンとは、イスラム教の礼拝の時刻になるとアラビア語で行われる呼びかけで、信者に祈りの時間を知らせます。

「アザーン」はイスラム教の祈りの呼びかけ専用の語で、他の「お知らせ」や「案内」には使いません。宗教的・文化的な文脈で使われます。
