Definition

একটি কাপড় বা পাতলা উপাদানের শিট যা জানালা, দরজা বা বারান্দার উপরে লাগানো হয়, যাতে রোদ কিংবা বৃষ্টি থেকে সুরক্ষা পাওয়া যায়। সাধারনত এটি সরানো যায় বা ভাঁজ করা যায়।

Usage Notes (Bengali)

'Awning' সাধারণত অস্থায়ী ও সরানো যায়, যেমন 'retractable awning'। কঠিন ও স্থায়ী ছাদের ক্ষেত্রে 'canopy' বা 'roof' ব্যবহার করুন।
