イベントや授業、会議などに行き、その場にいることを指します。人や物事に注意や世話を向ける意味もありますが、主に出席する意味で使われます。

'attending'は主にフォーマルや中立的な場面（例：'attending class', 'attending a meeting'）で使います。カジュアルな場面では「行く」をよく使います。'the attending doctor'は主治医や担当医の意味になります。
