어떤 일이나 사람에게 책임감 있게 처리하거나 돌봐주고 관심을 기울이는 것.

'take care of' 보다 격식 있게 사람, 일, 요청에 사용 ('attend to a guest', 'attend to matters'). 'attend'(출석하다)와 혼동하지 않도록 주의. 서비스, 의료, 비즈니스에서 자주 씀.
