'Apparition' শব্দটি সাধারণ কথোপকথনের চেয়ে সাহিত্য বা গল্প বলার ক্ষেত্রে বেশি ব্যবহার হয়। এটি হঠাৎ বা রহস্যময়ভাবে কিছু দেখার ধারণা দেয়। 'ghost' বা 'phantom' এর চেয়ে একটু বেশি আনুষ্ঠানিক।
