Definition
ঔষধ বিক্রেতা বা ওষুধ প্রস্তুত ও বিক্রি করতেন এমন ব্যক্তি, এক সময় গ্রামে ও শহরে ওষুধের দোকান চালাতেন। এটি এখন সাধারণত সাহিত্য বা ইতিহাসে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

'Apothecary' এখন খুবই পুরোনো ও সাহিত্যিক শব্দ; আধুনিক বাংলায় 'ফার্মাসিস্ট' বা 'ফার্মেসি' বলুন। ইতিহাস বা কল্পকাহিনিতে বেশি দেখা যায়।
