एक भवन के एक तल पर स्थित वह कमरा या कमरों का समूह, जहाँ लोग रहते हैं; अक्सर किराए पर होता है।

Usage Notes (Hindi)

'Apartment' अमेरिकी इंग्लिश में सामान्य है, ब्रिटिश इंग्लिश में इसे 'flat' कहते हैं। जैसे 'apartment building', 'studio apartment', 'rent an apartment' आदि। 'Department' से न मिलाएँ।
