Decir que algo es cierto sin probarlo, a menudo sobre acciones incorrectas o ilegales. 'Alleging' se usa mucho en situaciones legales y en noticias.
Usage Notes (Spanish)
Se utiliza principalmente en contextos legales o formales: 'alleging that...', 'alleging un crimen'. No significa que algo esté probado, sólo que se afirma. Frecuente con lo que se alega ('alleging fraude', 'alleging mala conducta').
