مساحة ضيقة وطويلة بين صفوف المقاعد أو الرفوف أو الأشياء، عادة للسماح بمرور الأشخاص. توجد كثيرًا في المتاجر الكبيرة والطائرات والمسارح والحافلات.

Usage Notes (Arabic)

لا تخلط بين 'aisle' و'isle' (جزيرة). يستخدم مع: 'aisle seat' (مقعد الممر)، 'grocery aisle' (ممر في السوبرماركت)، و'walk down the aisle' (المشي نحو المذبح في العرس). يستعمل في الرسمي وغير الرسمي.
