बड़े उड़ने वाले वाहन जो ऐसे गैस (जैसे हीलियम) से भरे होते हैं जो हवा से हल्की होती है, जिससे वे आकाश में तैर सकते हैं। Airships को dirigibles भी कहा जाता है और ये विमान आम होने से पहले इस्तेमाल होते थे।
