Avisar ou criticar alguém de modo suave, mas sério, geralmente para melhorar o comportamento ou evitar um erro.

Mais formal ou semiformal, normalmente usado por uma autoridade para corrigir alguém sem dureza. Expressão comum: 'admonish someone for'. Menos severo do que 'repreender' de forma dura. Raramente usado de forma informal.
