تَمَّ الالتصاق بسطح بإحكام أو الالتزام بقانون أو فكرة أو مبدأ بشكل وثيق.

كلمة رسمية أو تقنية، تُستخدم غالبًا في السياقات العلمية أو القانونية أو الأكاديمية. تعني إما الالتصاق بشيء ('adhered to the wall') أو الالتزام بشيء ('adhered to the rules'). لا تخلط بينها وبين 'attached' (مرفق) أو 'admired' (معجب به).
